Buffalo Grove Golf Course, opened in 1967, was originally developed by Harold Friedman and operated by the Branigar Organization, with Al Griffith serving as its first PGA Head Professional. The Village of Buffalo Grove acquired the course in 1973, overseeing decades of growth including new facilities and the addition of the Arboretum Club in 1990. Known for high play volume and unique features like a dual-green 15th hole, the course remains a longstanding community fixture.
