Wilmette Golf Course is a historic 18-hole public course in Wilmette, Illinois, originally opened in 1922 as Playmore Golf Club on former dairy farm land and designed by Joseph Roseman. It later became Wilmette Golf Club, transitioned through Northwestern University ownership, and was acquired by the Park District in 1972. Guided by a Dick Nugent master plan, it has been continuously improved and remains a premier community course.
