Tam O'Shanter Golf Course is a historic public 9-hole course owned and operated by the Niles Park District along the North Branch of the Chicago River. Originally part of the famed Tam O’Shanter Country Club, the property hosted legends including Ben Hogan, Arnold Palmer, and Sam Snead, and was the site of the first nationally televised golf tournament in 1953. The current par-33 layout opened in 1971 and was renovated in 2018.
